Who operates Ryven

What Ryven does
Ryven helps people discover real city events and places, inspect event details, save intent, start routes, and join event-specific conversations when available.
Data Ryven uses
Ryven only uses data needed to run the app: Sign in with Apple account data, location when you grant permission, saved event activity, route and arrival activity, event chat messages, ratings or reviews, reports, blocked-user records, moderation decisions, support messages, and technical identifiers or logs needed for security, notifications, and reliable operation.
Location
Location is used to show nearby events, calculate distance, and support route or arrival context when you allow it. Ryven may save location samples associated with route and arrival events, but not a continuous route history. Ryven does not sell location data or expose your live location as a public profile.
Public information
Event pages may show your display name with messages or reviews you choose to post. Ryven does not publish guest lists, emails, private account identifiers, or live user location.
Safety and moderation
Ryven filters public posts and uses reports and blocks to prevent abuse. Reports include a copy of the referenced content, the reporting account, the author, the reason, and the moderation outcome. Blocking hides that author’s content from your feed immediately and also alerts Ryven for review.
Service providers
Ryven uses a small set of providers to operate the product: Apple services for sign-in, maps, notifications, and device security; Supabase for authentication, database, storage, and backend functions; Vercel for web hosting and server operation; and map providers such as MapTiler or OpenStreetMap for web map display when active.
Tracking and sale of data
Ryven does not sell personal data, does not use data brokers, and does not use cross-app tracking for advertising.
Privacy choices
You can delete your account in Ryven from Profile. You can also start the same request from our dedicated account deletion page. You can revoke location or notification permission in iOS or Android Settings. To request access, correction, consent withdrawal, or deletion of activity tied to your account, contact hello@ryven-app.com. We may need enough information to verify the account before completing a request.
Retention and protection
Account and activity data is kept while your account is active and only as long as needed for the purposes above. Safety records may be retained longer when needed to prevent repeat abuse, resolve disputes, or meet legal duties. Ryven applies the same protection to personal data received through Apple, Supabase, or another provider as it does to data collected directly.
